                 Lord Rama is the Seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu . Sri Rama took Avatar in Tretha yuga. The second yuga of the four yugas. Kritha yuga is the first and Tretha yuga the second, Dwapara yuga the third and Kali yuga the last yuga which is the current yuga.
         
                 The great Hindu epic Ramayana narrates the life of Lord Rama, the events connected to Rama avatar and all the greatness and great qualities of Sri Ramachandra Swamy.
         
                 Lord Rama born as the eldest son of King Dasaratha and Kousalya in Ayodhya. Along with Lord Rama, Sudharshana Lord's Disk (Chakrayutham) took birth as Baratha, Adhisesha the sesha on which Lord Vishnu reposes in Vaikunta as Lakshmana and Panchajanyam Lord's Shank as Shatrughna who are the younger brothers of Lord Rama. Lord Rama married Devi Janaki daughter of Janaka Maharaja. Devi Janaki who is devi Sita is the avatar of Sri Lakshmi devi.
         
                 Sri Rama's life and journey which is completely adherence to dharma despite harsh tests and obstacles and many pains of life explains the people and his devotees the importance of following dharma in their lifetime and sets an example to them.
         
                 In Hinduism Lord Sri Rama and Devi Sita are worshipped as one of the main deities all over India. Lord Rama is worshipped in different forms as Lord Ramachandra Moorthi, Sita Ramar , Kalyana Ramar, Pattabhi Ramar, Kodhanda Ramar ( Rama holding his Bow - Kodhandam )  , ChathurBhuja Rama ( Lord Rama with four hands - Chathurbujam) , Sri Yoga Ramar ( Rama in meditating posture ) , Sayana Ramar ( Rama in reclining posture on Adhisesha ) in different temples dedicated to Lord Rama in different parts of India.
